Simple Steps to Keep Your Vehicle Safe – Keyless ignition owners should use a Faraday pouch for their fob. All drivers should consider a steering lock, park in well – lit visible areas, lock their vehicle, remove valuables and ensure windows, sunroof, and wing mirrors are closed/ folded. How it works in three steps:
What’s been happening? Good news –
This week we arrested four people for all for domestic offences. The first was a male for stalking his ex-partner. It was graded high risk and after he admitted to the offence in interview, he was remanded to Birmingham Magistrates Court the next day. He now has strict court bail conditions to protect the victim in time for his appearance at Birmingham Crown Court in November. The second was a female for an assault with injury on her partner after she scratched him then ran over his foot in her vehicle. The final arrest was for a male for engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour against an ex-partner. He also now has strict bail conditions while we work with CPS to get him charged as soon as possible.
On the Sunday afternoon a male was released from custody at 4pm after he had assaulted his ex-partner in the early hours. He was given a Domestic Violence Protection Notice, which he breached just over half an hour after his release. We quickly spoke with the victim and arrested him (for his second time today) at 6:30pm. Our quick actions mean he will be appearing in court for his Domestic Violence Protection Order hearing. If he breaches this, then he will be looking at a hefty fine.
